STANDARD RELEASE
OEC Medical Systems, Inc., a GE Healthcare business (hereinafter “GE OEC”), and said consultant
hereby enter into this Standard Release and agree as follows:
1.
Consultant agrees to be photographed and/or videotaped by GE OEC through its
authorized third party photographers and/or videographers (“Authorized Personnel”),
and hereby permits GE OEC to use these photographs for advertising GE OEC’s products
and services (the “Products”) in any medium whatsoever including, without limitation,
showing/printing/circulating in the United States or abroad in any newspaper,
magazine, periodical, catalogue and/or displayed on billboards or any other advertising
structure or any point of purchase material such as posters, danglers, stickers,
shopping bags, in-house magazines, sales literature, dealer communication, and any
other means of communication of Products, excluding the use of television.
2.
Consultant hereby agrees that the release period under this Agreement is unlimited and
shall accrue to the benefit of GE OEC in perpetuity.
3.
Consultant hereby assigns and grants to GE OEC the exclusive and absolute right and
permission to copyright and/or use and/or publish photographic portraits or pictures of
Consultant in which Consultant may be included in whole or in part or composite
reproductions thereof in color, or elsewhere for art, advertising trade, and other similar
purpose whatsoever including without limitation the exclusive right to use such pictures
for advertising or marketing or trade, excluding the use of television.

Consultant hereby assigns and grants to GE OEC the exclusive and absolute right and
permission to copyright and/or use and/or publish statements made by Consultant
regarding the Products in whole or in part, for advertising trade and other similar
purpose whatsoever including without limitation the exclusive right to use such
statements for advertising or marketing or trade.
5.
Consultant hereby waives the right to inspect and/or approve the finished product or
the advertising copy that may be used by GE OEC in connection with the services
tendered by Consultant hereunder including, without limitation, any photographs or
photographic portraits of Consultant.
6.
Consultant hereby releases and discharges GE OEC, its successors, and all persons
acting under its permission or authority, including Authorized Personnel, from any
liability by virtue of any blurring, distortion, and/or optical illusion of use in composite
form that may occur or be produced in the taking of the said picture or in any
processing tending toward completion of the finished product.
7.
Consultant hereby agrees that it has not received any inducements to provide
statements and/or photos, or videotaped messages unless Consultant has entered into
a separate Consulting Agreement.
