The Mono-Sunflower Production Program provides you with a seed cost rebate on contracted hectares as well as assisting you manage price and production risk whereby you can fix a price on a proportion of your crop without the concern of a washout in the event of production failure. BENEFITS • • • • • A $15/ha seed cost rebate on any approved varieties of mono-sunflower seed purchased The comfort of a known price with no production risk on the first 0.5mt/ha* you produce Opportunity to price your mono-sunflowers for up to 3 months after planting You can decide where you market any quantity you produce over the 0.5mt/ha*contracted to AWB Ease of delivery at harvest with AWB ex-farm pricing and last load service when selling through AWB ensuring you can market all of your crop HOW IT WORKS • Y ou contract to plant a nominated number of hectares and commit to deliver the first 0.5mt/ha* of mono-sunflowers to AWB • You purchase approved varieties of mono-sunflower seed from a seed retailer of your choice and AWB will rebate you $15/ha on the contracted production area • If you experience production failure AWB will not impose a washout charge on the first 0.5mt/ha* contracted under the program • AWB can arrange ex-farm pick up of all of your contracted grain • On farm storage incentives to get the most out of your storage CONSIDERATIONS • The quantity of grain committed under the program must be fully priced within 3 months of planting. If you have not established your price by this time AWB will fix your price at the cash bid on the day • A purchase receipt is required to claim the seed rebate • Seed rebate only applies to approved varieties of mono-sunflowers • Limited mono-sunflower delivery locations • AWB may ask that a crop report is produced to confirm your crop production and yield * 0.5mt/ha in all areas except crops grown in the Liverpool Plains area of NSW where the applicable production is 0.7mt/ha or any irrigated crop where the applicable production is 1.0mt/Ha Contracting is available for a limited period.
