Eldra ELDSIG VO-JY(st)Y mb is a pair stranded, overall shielded, steel wire braided signal
earth cable. ELDSIG VO-JY(st)Y mb is suitable for use for signalling and control purposes in
low-voltage installations. The conductor is solid, bare electrolytic copper conforming to IEC
60228 class 1.
The core pairs are twisted with an optimum, non-harmonic pitch relative to each other, with at
least seven twists per metre. This ensures good crosstalk attenuation. To minimize interference
from external electrical interference ELDSIG VO-JY(st)Ymb cables include an overall aluminium
foil shield with underlying PE conductor.
The galvanized steel wire braiding provides magnetic shielding and offers protection against
damage. The steel wire braiding also makes the cable suitable for underground applications.
When stringent requirements are placed on fire safety, Eldra ELDSIG VO-JY(st)Y mb is an
excellent choice. Eldra ELDSIG VO-JY(st)Y mb is also available in a halogen-free version,
ELDSIG-H ZO-JH(st)H mbzh.
Extra information
Available as standard with green outer jacket and with red outer jacket for fire alarm and
evacuation systems. Available in other colours on request.

For all cables, the conductor coding is in accordance with NEN 1597 for paired cables.
