Shotgun start: 8:30 a.m. Format: Four-person Scramble. *In a four-man scramble format, four players play together as a team. Each player on the team tees off from the tee box. The team members select the best tee shot of the four, and ALL golfers then play their second shot from that location. The 2012 Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Advanced registration, with payment, is required for golf. No on-site registration will be accommodated. All golfers MUST be registered for the Summer meeting to participate in golf - there is NO GOLF ONLY. The golf tournament will have 18hole sponsored events and the betting hole with all proceeds from the golf tournament benefiting the RMAA Scholarship Program. There will be flight winners and an overall team champion. RMAA presents five $1000 undergraduate Scholarships annually. The association provides one scholarship to a student from each of the following schools: Colorado State University, University of Wyoming, and Northeastern Colorado Junior College. The student must be majoring in a discipline that involves plant and Entry fee: $125 per person (before Aug. 8, $150 after). This includes green fees, GPS system golf carts, range balls, hole and team prizes. Hole sponsors: Each hole can be sponsored for $175; money generated from hole sponsorships will be used for the scholarship program. Dress code: Only soft-soled shoes and soft spikes are allowed. Players must wear shirts with collars and sleeves. No jeans, please. Pre-paid Mulligans: You can purchase mulligans prior to the tournament. Mulligans are limited to two per golfer. Pre-pay for the mulligans on your registration form: $20. Fishing Tournament Information: Reservoir, opens at 5 am. Visa and Mastercard are accepted for beer, sandwiches, snacks, lures, ice, etc. A one-day fishing license is $9.00. RULES: Both the stream and lake categories are limited to Trout with no size limits. *Note: Fish caught must be in accordance with Colorado Fish and Game Regulations: Please check the regulations for the individual lakes you prefer to fish.
