Where? The Chiltern School, Regis Educational Centre, Parkside Avenue,
Houghton Regis LU5 5PX
The club has been running since 2001 and we cater for all young people with special
needs. Our activities are based around social inclusion both in the club and the
community. We have experienced trained staff to care for the club members. We also have
school/college students 16 – 20 years old who also help to support the club members.
Through our activities we aim to increase the club members’ confidence and self-esteem,
giving them opportunities to try new things whilst in the company of their friends.
We offer short break services for families and our specialism is 1 to 1. We recommend that
you apply 6 weeks prior to booking a place. This will enable the time needed to conduct
a visit to meet staff to attend an initial ex gratia visit/risk assessment and paperwork to
be completed on the new member.

Leighton Buzzard
What? Linslade Child Care
Where? Linslade Lower School, Leopold Road, Linslade, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 2QU
Holiday Club is a time for the children to have fun and relax – it is not school after all,
it’s their holiday time. Part of Holiday Club is the itinerary of activities. Each day there
are scheduled activities for all ages, although sometimes these activities can be the same
throughout the week. Arts, crafts and games are popular and short trips are an option.
These activities are optional. There are a wide range of toys and games and some children
prefer to design their own games – like running a shop or playing hairdressers.
We bake, play computer games, have Wii competitions, visit the park, go and feed the
ducks and have daily access to the School fields and climbing equipment. Weather
permitting; we try to spend as much time outside as possible. The options are the
playgrounds, the school field and school playgrounds. There is a climbing frame and
basketball court. Water fights and a paddling pool are all part of summer fun. Lunch and
tea may also be served outside, ideally at the picnic tables during the summer months.
