Graphing Grade One and Two
Data: data is another word for information.
Sometimes we show data in graphs, tables and
charts.
Pictograph (picture graph): a pictograph uses
pictures to show data.
Bar Graph: uses bars to show data.
Tally: A mark used to keep track of counting. Lines are
used to show each number, and a line across is made for
every 5 numbers, forming bundles of 5s.
Survey: question(s) used to collect data.
