SPRING is here, make
sure your back flow
device is inspected
and we have a copy of
the report on file. All
irrigation systems
require back flow
devices and the Missouri Department of
Natural Resources
requires they be inspected annually to
insure the safety of no
contaminants leaking
back into your water.
Get those back flow
inspection reports sent
in.

Professional lawn care services recommend the following: Early in the morning is the ideal time to water for
most lawns. There is less wind, less hot sun, and your lawn has a full day to dry. In the hot afternoon,
much of your water can be lost to wind and evaporation.
VOLUNTEERS FOR WATER SAMPLING NEEDED
.The Public Water Supply
District #2 (PWSD #2) is
currently looking for new
sampling sites within your
service area. We need volunteers to allow us to take routine samples from their outdoor faucets on a monthly
basis. Samples collected are
tested for the presence of
potential contaminants by the
Missouri Department of
Natural Resources State Lab
(MoDNR) with the results
kept on record both by
MoDNR and PWSD #2. If
you are interested in having
your residence added as a
sampling site, please contact
Brian Pieper, Water Distribution Supervisor, @ 636-5613737 ext 122 or via e-mail
[email protected]
to see if you qualify. Thanks!
