Last Sunday, LIFEBLOOD collected enough blood to prolong, enhance, and save the life of 30 patients. Of
the 12 parishioners who volunteered to donate, 10 were eligible to contribute. Parishioners who have
benefited in the past from such contributions are Betty Donahue, and John Boyd, themselves, a past and
present donor. Betty, employed by Navy Personnel Office in Washington D.C., was a blood donor recruiter
for the Navy for the Red Cross. Congratulations to Lori Cohoon, a 3 gallon LIFEBLOOD donor. Lori's father
David, is a past blood donor. Lori's mother, Cynthia, received two blood transfusions this past fall. She knows the
importance of her daughter's donations! On behalf of LIFEBLOOD, thank you for your gift of life.
