Golden Belt Bank Scholarship
The Golden Belt Bank scholarship is intended for those high school seniors who plan to
attend an accredited post-secondary school full-time in the fall of 2016 This includes any
college, university, area vocational technical college, technical school, community college or
proprietary school. A non-renewable $1000 scholarship will be awarded to one qualifying
high school senior from each of the following schools: Ellis High School, Hays High School,
Thomas More Prep-Marian High School, and Victoria High School. All applications must be
submitted by March 31, 2017.
Qualifications:
 Recipient must be currently enrolled as a senior at Ellis High School, Hays High School,
Thomas More Prep-Marian High School or Victoria High School.

Recipient must plan to attend an accredited post-secondary school full-time in the fall of
2017.

Recipient must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Recipient must be willing to come to the Golden Belt Bank location in Hays for a group
picture with the other recipients of the scholarship. Time to be determined after
scholarship recipients has been announced.

Recipient must supply a copy of their college schedule to Golden Belt Bank before check
will be issued. All checks will be made payable to the college they will be attending in
the fall of 2017.

Preference will be given to Golden Belt Bank customers.

 Scholarship application must be typed.

Include 2 letters of reference.

Include a high school transcript.

