Calvert Connection On August 5, 2001, the St. Mary's Transit Public Transportation (STS) connected with Calvert County Public Transportation (CCPT) at the Woodburns Store in Solomons, MD. This service will be offered Monday through Friday. St. Mary's County citizens now can catch any of the St. Mary's Transit System (STS) routes and connect with the CCPT and ride to Lusby, St. Leonards, Prince Frederick and beyond. Likewise, Calvert County citizens can catch any of the CCPT routes and connect with St. Mary's Transit System (STS) to St. Mary's County. Calvert County, through the Maryland Transit Administration of the Maryland Department of Transportation provides the commuters of the county with an alternative mode of transportation. At the present time, commuter buses leave the county daily from St. Leonard and Prince Frederick area to the Washington Metro area. The buses stop at the park and ride lots at Crossroad Church in St. Leonard, MD, Prince Frederick Park and Ride at Fairground and Armory Rd, Chesapeake Church and the Sunderland Park and Ride in Sunderland, MD, and the Dunkirk Park and Ride on Ferry Landing Road. The Route 904 service has a total of fourteen buses leaving the county daily from the Municipal Lot in North Beach, MD, Dash-In on Rt. 260 in Owings; Lower Pindell Road Park and Ride; Bristol park and ride; Wayson’s Corner Park and Ride and the Prince George's County Equestrian Center Park and Ride. These buses make stops throughout the city and connect with the Metro system for rides into Montgomery County and Northern Virginia. This service operates Monday through Friday. Bus Schedules for St. Mary's Transit System (STS) and the CCPT are available from the bus drivers. Each county's bus tickets will be honored by the other County, therefore there will be no extra cost to our passengers.
