Documentation and attachments
PM5 makes is easy to find any machine or piece of
equipment, as well as the information attached to
it. All data relevant to your machines and equipment, such as tasks, spare part consumption and
failure history can be found through a simple, fully
searchable user interface.
The number of documents available in electronic
format increase every day. PM5 gives you the possibility to store such documents in a centra-lized
repository, and more importantly, it gives you easy
access to them when you need them. In PM5, electronic attachments such as text documents, pictures or PDF-documents can be added to every single machine, task, supplier, activity or fault. One
mouse click and you have the documentation on
your screen!
Locations and machine groups
Navigation interface in PM5 provides an overview
of both the geographic locations and organizational
structure of your company. By selecting a location,
you automatically get an overview of its machines,
tasks and activities. Finding the relevant information for a department or section in your company
has never been easier.
Spare parts and spare part stores
What spare parts are associated with this machine
– where are those spare parts stored – how many
do you have in stock – and where can you order
more? Just a few examples of questions and answers by a quick glance at your PM5 client.
Logs and failure history
The ability to register machinery and equipment
failures and how those issues were resolved is, according to our users, one of the most appreciated
functions in PM5. By retaining information about resolved faults, some of our users have been able to
significantly reduce down time of their equipment.

Reports
With PM5 you can easily monitor all the maintenance tasks on a single screen. In your everyday
work you will sort tasks and distinguish between
errors and preventive maintenance tasks. It is easy
to get the overview of tasks and group them. In
most industries, some tasks will be postponed and
others will be done ahead of time. Of course PM5
can handle maintenance tasks that has to be done
on a specific date. But maintenance workers often
have to be very flexible and adapt to different production schedules, weather conditions, special certified personnel etc. PM5 can do all this and reflects
the real world of maintenance.
PM5 gives you access to over thirty standard reports. These reports contain the numbers of ongoing activities per. employee, number of defects per
day, numbers of outstanding errors per place.
Event-based maintenance
Tasks in PM5 can be controlled using counter value
logs – the date for the next maintenance is automatically adjusted based on counter value reads,
which can be entered manually or automatically
(assisted by an OPC server). E.g. schedules for
tasks can be adjusted based on variations in running time or number of produced units.
Flexibility
PM5 can be modified to suit specific needs of your
organization. This means you will only have the
functions you need and no unnecessary functions.
Flexible user interface
The user interface in PM5 can be modified to individual user specific needs. Access to information
can be granted according to individual user roles in
your organization.
Data import through Excel
In order to reduce the time spend on manual data
entry, we have developed a small application that
allow you to import data into PM5 directly from Excel documents. It comes with every type of PM5
license, free of charge.

Automatic sheduling of maintanence tasks
PM5 can interact with the factory machinery trough
PLC or HMI systems. PM5 collects real-time data
from the machinery such as pulse sequences and full
stops. PM5 converts pulse sequences to maintanence
tasks using the OPC standard communication driver.
Inventory management with barcodes
Scan your job chart and search out your spareparts.
Manage your inventory and update the consumption
of spareparts at location on the ruggedized handheld
terminal device.
The PM5 barcode scanner saves you a lot of time and
manual work. By handling the parts with a barcode
scanner the updates are instantly available. The storage system will check the stock inventory and if this
is below the specified minimum amount the system
will report a new purchase. Spare parts are assigned
to each machine and the financial consequences will
be transferred to the individual account.

This screen in PM5 gives you a status of active
and historical activities and failures on machines.
On this screen it is very easy to filter information.
A default user setting ensures your favorite information saved for the next time you logon to PM5.
It is easy to find any machine or equipment. All
data relevant to machines and equipment, such as
spareparts, tasks and historical data can be found
trough a simple, fully searchable user interface. The
simple user interface is the succes criteria for PM5.

ReportByEmail and reports
With ReportByEmail you can design any report and
retrieve data from PM5. The benefit is that the system automatically distribute reports to any available
e-mail account. Purchase and management reports
will be sent automatically. Errors and delayed deadlines will automatically be published and sent to the
responsible staff.

functionalities to keep track of any purchase history.

Technology and system requirements
Scan the job chart with the job description and unsubscribe the maintenance task. If necessary, enter
any other information about the maintenance job
and the consumption of spare parts. This results in a
quick and easy daily work process.
To be able to use PM5, you need to provide access to
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008. PM5 can be run
on the free Express Edition of Microsoft SQL Server. PM5 can be run in Citrix- and Microsoft Terminal
Server-environment. PM5 is based on Microsoft .NET. PM5 is available in 12 different languages. Languages are selected on user level. Each language can be
adapted with modifications as needed. It is also possible to create completely new languages.
