HERE’S YOUR CHANCE TO EXPERIENCE PEE-WEE HOCKEY, ISLANDERS STYLE!
The New York Islanders want you for the 2017–18 New York Islanders Quebec Team. Here’s your chance
to try out for the team we’re sending next year to the Quebec International Hockey Tournament, also
known as the “World Championship of Pee-Wee Hockey.”
Plus, for all you goalies out there—if you are selected as one of the two goalies going to Quebec,
you will have the chance to take part in five (5) goalie sessions with the goalie coaches for the
New York Islanders.
TRYOUT DATES
The Quebec Team will be selected through a series of two-day tryout camps scheduled for June, July
and August of this year. Cost: $80 per two-day camp.

CUTS WILL START AFTER THE JULY TRYOUTS. PLEASE TRY TO MAKE BOTH THE JUNE AND
JULY TRYOUT CAMPS SO WE GET AN OPPORTUNITY TO SEE YOU MORE.
FINAL TRYOUT
The final team tryout will take place on
Monday, September 11th at 7:30PM.
SELECTION DATE/PRACTICE SCHEDULE
The team will be selected by September 15th. Practices start
on Monday, September 18th.
IF SELECTED, NOT ONLY WILL YOU REPRESENT AN NHL TEAM AT THE TOURNAMENT, BUT YOU
WILL BE COACHED BY A STAFF WITH NHL PEDIGREES, INCLUDING:

Bernie Cassell – the Skill Development Coach for the New York Islanders
Arron Asham – a 15-year NHL veteran
Eric Boulton – current New York Islanders Player
ABOUT THE QUEBEC TOURNAMENT
The Quebec International Hockey Tournament is the most important minor hockey tournament in the world.
Over 2,300 youth hockey players from 16 countries head to Quebec every year to participate in the “World
Championship of Pee-Wee Hockey.”
Participating in the Quebec Tournament is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, starting with an ON-ICE send off
at an Islanders game.
NOT ONLY WILL YOU COMPETE AGAINST TEAMS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD,
YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:
