On Mother’s Day, May 11,
2008, the Pittsburgh Spaghetti
Warehouse built the World’s
Largest Lasagne weighing
8,800 pounds and serving 9,600
people. All proceeds from the
sale of the World’s Largest
Lasagne were donated to a local
charity.
Spaghetti Warehouse has
sold over 24 million orders of
lasagne since its founding in
1972.

lightly when it comes to
describing our 15-Layer
Lasagne. It truly is incredible.
We take great pride in every
detail of every serving of our
Lasagne. We even take three
days, that’s right, three days to
prepare our Lasagne. We do
this to ensure every order of
Lasagne is perfect every time.
All our ingredients are madefrom-scratch. And we build
our Lasagne using ricotta,
Romano and mozzarella

Our name is based on the
fact that all or most of our
restaurants are located
in downtown historic
warehouse locations. And
rumor has it that some of
our restaurants have some
really friendly ghosts. In fact,
one or two of our restaurants
have been featured nationally
on cable shows that explore
ghost sightings.
Our iconic trolley is part
of the Warehouse lore
as many of our historic
warehouse buildings had
trolleys that went back
and forth in front of the
buildings during the late
1800s and early 1900s.
Our turn-of-the-century
buildings had many lives
before becoming Spaghetti
Warehouse serving great
tasting spaghetti to millions
of Guests. Just to name a few
include an ice house, pillow
factory and Civil War Armory.
So we feel our name says it all.
Oh, and while you’re walking
around, you might even run
into one of our friendly ghosts.
