Pembroke Pines, FL… January 23, 2017…Members of the Pembroke Pines Charter High School Drama Troupe 6153
excelled in the District 13 Individual Events Drama Competition Technical Categories held at Nova High School. Nicolas
Raimont, a senior received the District 13 Thespian Scholarship due to his outstanding audition and interview. He plans
to major in Musical Theatre. “It was wonderful to have so many of our talented behind the scenes students recognized,”
commented Andrea Kidd, Pembroke Pines Charter High School Fine Arts Teacher. “It was especially gratifying when it
was announced that Nicolas received a scholarship audition grant for musical theatre.”
The following Pembroke Pines Charter Highs School Students won in their respective Technical categories
 Brianna Vasil a senior was awarded Superior for Makeup Design
 Victoria Cabrera a senior was awarded Excellent for Makeup Design
 Francisco Saavedra senior, was awarded Superior for his Choreography and Excellent for Costume
Design
 Nicole Patrick a senior was awarded Superior for Publicity Design for Hamlet
 Emily Pacini a senior was recognized Outstanding Participation for Costume Construction




Savannah Dozier a senior was awarded Excellent for Playwriting
Elizabeth Garrison a senior was awarded Superior Publicity Design for Hamlet
Cassandra Vrochidis a senior was awarded Excellent for Makeup Design
Angelica Chirino a junior was awarded Excellent for Publicity Design: and Outstanding Participation for
Costume Construction
