Begi regulator install 2

Turned out nice. Fabricated a
bracket out of 2” aluminum flat
stock to mount the Begi regulator to.
Made my own restrictor out of a
plastic pneumatic restrictor. Drilled
out the orifice with a #66 drill bit.
The little restrictor that came with
the Begi was letting too much air
through. Perfect now! Did some
testing with a nitrogen tank and
regulator. After I dialed it in—44
psi base fuel pressure—41 psi @
idle. 48 psi @ 5# of boost—59 psi
@ 10# of boost—68 psi @ 12# of
boost. The Turbosmart 1/1 regulator
controls fuel up to 8# of boost then
the Begi takes over and controls fuel
above 8# at a 5/1. The Begi is infinetly adjustable up to 12/1. The
Begi goes in the fuel return line and
“pinches down” the fuel line, increasing fuel pressure.
