of original tools and moulds that allowed us to
resume the production of these practical and
gorgeous items. Today, after a long and intensive
search for suitable manufacturers, we have
finally added some of the original items to our
product range again, and others will follow. All
casting, enamelling and assembly work is done in
Germany. Our products are of exceptional quality,
particularly with respect to their moulding.

German company W. Ischebeck & Co. Eisengiesserei und Emaillierwerk was founded in Gevelsberg
in 1910. At the time, the manufacturer offered
a wide range of enamelled cast iron items for
bathroom and kitchen. Each item came with the
manufacturer's mark "PORZELLAN EMAILLE
SCHNEE-WEIß" (enamelled porcelain snowwhite). As a result of operational transfers, the
production of certain goods was continued by
Hildebrand, a company based in Wetter an der

Decorative and Protective. Enamel Coating.
Steel and cast iron products often receive an
enamel coating, which is a decorative as well
as protective layer. During this process, raw
materials that are also used to produce porcelain
and glass are melted onto steel resp. cast iron
surfaces at 800 – 950 °C. Cast iron treated that
way basically gets a glass coating, which makes
it highly resistant to light and weather conditions
– in other words – protected from corrosion. Our
range of products includes cast iron fittings with
white or black enamelled surfaces as well as
strong and solid hooks and mounting brackets,
and their weight speaks
volumes for their quality. As the enamelling
process is carried
out manually and
not by a machine,
it is possible that the
enamel is applied onto the
unfinished casting with a varying thickness that
may cause surfaces to be slightly uneven. Some
tiny black spots or pores may be visible. They
are, however, part of the typical appearance
of enamelled goods. They do not influence the
corrosion protection.

Mounting instruction: We do not supply mounting material. Enamelled items should only be mounted by hand,
not by means of an electric screwdriver as this may damage the enamel coating.
