New Faces of Mt. Rushmore
Do you know what Mt. Rushmore is? It is a beautiful sight in South DaKota
were people from all over visit. I think that Mt. Rushmore should get some new faces .
And I believe that I have just the right people for the new and improved Mt. Rushmore .
For a new face on Mt. Rushmore I th ink that Todd Beamer would be a perf~ct
fit, he stopped the terrorist on 9111 from crashing a plane into the white house. On

here are two kinds of people in this world ; leaders and followers. There are
those who make positive impacts and there are those that make negative ones .
These four people all show determination, heali, integrity and most of all,

Determination, Strength and a ' 'Never Give Up" attitude are only three

as Rosa Park, Elizabeth Blackwell, Gene Simmons, and J . K. Rowling?
Rosa Parks should be on Mt. Rushmore because she showed courage standing
up to white people when they told her to get up from her seat on a crowded bus.
People to be on Mount Rushmore
MOWlt Rushmore is a very popular historical site. It is visited very often and
admired by people around the world. But do all the faces carved 01 to that big rock
really deserve fo be there? No they do not. These are new times and new people

ave you ever won ere wby there are only four faces on Mt. Rushmore? Well , maybe there
shouldn't just be four. Have you ever wanted to add a few to Mt. Rushmore? There are so many
people who could also be on Mt. Rushmore, but who would you choose? I think that these four
people in particular, Frida Kahlo, Daren Shan , Chester Bennington, and Adam Sandler should
be put on Mt. Rushmore.
Due to her inspirational artwork and courageous story, Frida Kahlo, a famous artist, should be
on Mt. Rushmore. Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter that was famous for her self portraits. Her
work has been celebrated around Mexico and her portraits often include part of her Mexican

R osa Parks should be on Mount Rushmore because of her courage, bravery, and
intelligence. R osa Parks became famous when she refused to give up her seat on the
bus to a white pa5senger. Because of this, Parks wa.~ arrested and fined fOT violating a
city ordinance. She showed bravery when she stood up to that passenger because she
was willing to take whatever punishment for standing up [Dr herself. Parks also showed
courage because at the time, she was one of the first ofthe African American people who
stood up for herself. Furthermore, Rosa Parks showed intelligence when she stood up
for herself because she knew that the white passenger had DO right to just waltz in and
