Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life. Whether you are
planning a lavish celebration or a more intimate party for family and close
friends, we understand how important it is that everything goes smoothly. At
Hilton our role is simple. We promise to take care of all the little details, to
make sure you enjoy the wedding of your dreams.
We are licensed to host civil weddings and partnerships, and our air
conditioned Invicta Suite can entertain up to 130 guests for a stylish
banquet. It enjoys natural daylight and has its own private bar and reception
area.
Outside, we have a gazebo which is also licensed for civil weddings and
partnerships for up to 80 guests, and our attractive terrace courtyard, with a
bridge over the pond, can provide a romantic backdrop for your photographs.
Our hotel also offers a choice of 146 bedrooms – with one suite for the special couple. Our
LivingWell Health Club is also available to guests staying at the hotel with its swimming
pool, gym, steam room and sauna.

to check in to from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and guests are asked to vacate their
bedrooms before midday on the day of departure.
Subject to availability we can offer a block of bedrooms for your Wedding group. We will
give you an individual code for you to give to your guests, who can then use this code to
book bedrooms on line 24 hours a day or through our reservation department. Please ask
for more details.

What happens ……
If you book your wedding breakfast with us here
at the hotel
We can guarantee you any day and time to have your
civil ceremony here at the hotel. You must however have at
least 28 days between booking and the ceremony date.
We will make the initial booking with the registrar and they
will then contact you and your partner to discuss the next
steps to confirming your ceremony. Please note you will
have to pay the registrar direct.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Make an appointment to meet with our Wedding Advisor to discuss your
requirements and check that all-important date. After discussing your plans for your
special day we will send through a detailed proposal for your Wedding day.
It is so easy to confirm your Wedding, just return a signed copy of the hotel
terms and conditions and a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit.
Once your Wedding Advisor receives your confirmation as above, they will send you:a receipt for your payment, a Wedding checklist & accommodation booking form.
3 months prior to your Wedding your Advisor will invite you into the Hotel to
confirm your plans so far.
1 month prior to the event, the final numbers and the final balance is due.
Your Wedding Adviser promises to be on hand through every stage of your Wedding
Plans and can often suggest ideas, knowledge and support, please do not hesitate
to contact them. Our product offers flexibility in all aspect of your Wedding plans,
and your Wedding Advisor will be happy to discuss your requirements further.
WEDDING TIME PLANNER
At Hilton, we have years of experience in planning and organising your big day. We
have some suggestions on how to successfully, with as little stress as possible, plan
your memorable day.

Terms & Conditions for Wedding Receptions
Everyone has Terms & Conditions but we would like to make them as clear and easily
understandable for you as possible. Please ensure you read them. If you have any
questions regarding them please feel free to speak to us. Obviously we understand that
not all the points will always apply to your function.
HOW DO I MAKE MY BOOKING?
Confirmation is required within 14 days of making your provisional booking, together with a
deposit of £500.00. Please note that this deposit is NON-TRANSFERRABLE AND NONREFUNDABLE once paid. You will then be required to pay 50% of the remaining balance 6
months prior to the wedding, and then the final balance is due to be paid one month in
advance of the Wedding, with any extras being payable on the day.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL?
For all events there needs to be an agreed cancellation policy, as cancellations cost the
hotel money and this is how ours works. In the unlikely event of your Wedding
Reception being cancelled, the following charges will apply:

WHAT ABOUT YOUR “YOUNG ONES”?
Children 12 and over are included in the numbers for the Wedding packages numbers.
Children under 12 having just the meal (half portion) and not the full package will be
charged at £19.95 including vat per child or can chose from the Kiddies menu.
For children under 6 can choose from the Kiddies menu. There are no free children places.
CAN I CHANGE THE NUMBERS OF GUESTS?
Yes, right up until the final balance is paid one month before the wedding. However, after
that time, there are no refunds or transferring of monies. The one exception is if your
guest list drops below the minimum numbers agreed for the suite – then you must pay for
the minimum number agreed.
Once you confirmed you minimum numbers one month before the wedding and if it is
above the original minimum numbers, then this will then become the minimum number
that will be payable.

WHAT ABOUT ACCOMMODATION?
We offer a Hilton Double Guest Room inclusive of breakfast for the Bride & Groom with
our compliments on the evening of the Wedding to all couples who book our full wedding
package. Special accommodation rates are offered to your guests subject to availability.
Children under 16 years, sharing with adults will be charged for meals only. Children in a
separate room will be charged the full adult price.
Guest often ask for early arrival this is subject to availability and cannot guarantee. We
recommend that you ring the day prior to or the morning off your arrival.
ANYTHING ELSE AND SMALL PRINT
Please be aware that there may be other events being hosted at the hotel on the
day including another Wedding.
Weddings having a sit down meal followed by an evening buffet must cater for a minimum
of 80% of the anticipated guests; Weddings having an evening buffet only must cater for
100% of the anticipated evening guests.
If wish to organise your own DJ or Band then this is fine but there will be a charge of
£100.00. We will also require is their public liability and insurance papers no later than
one week prior to the event. If we do not recieve it then they will not be able to set up or
play.
We can organised a DJ for you at the cost of £350.00 including vat. If wish to organise
your own DJ or Band then this is fine but there will be a cost of £100.00. We will also
require is their public liability and insurance papers no later than one week prior to the
event. If we do not recieve it then they will not be able to set up or play.
The function will be made available for you to decorate from 9am on the day of your
function. If you require set up the night prior to your function than this will occur a cost.
We do not provide decoration or flowers for the function room or decorate the room.
After the wedding breakfast, we will clear and reset the room for your evening reception
which normally takes an hour to change the room round. At this time all guests will be
asked to leave the room whilst the operations team get the room ready for your evening
reception. Please factor this timing into your day.
With the except of the Wedding cake and small wedding favours you are unable to
bring your own food and drink into the hotel. Alcohol given as Favours are not to be
consume on the hotel property. Guests consumping their own alcohol will be asked to
stop and if they continue will be asked to leave the premises.
