The Bullpup Bulletin Volume 2 Issue #4 September 11, 2015 Upcoming Events Dear Friends of PTH, We had another great week of learning at growing at PTH! We took our school pictures and I have to say our Bullpups are pretty cute! If you would like to order your child’s school picture, you can do so by ordering online at www. strawbridge.net. Winnie and I have truly been inspired as we watched our students rally around the “Pencil Campaign” for a needy school in Haiti. Our students have met their original goal of raising 1000 pencils so they have increased their goal to 2000 pencils! I know our Bullpups can meet this increased goal. Winnie and I were also inspired when we saw so many patriots wearing their red, white and blue in honor of Patriot’s Day today! Great job, Bullpups! I apologize for needing to reschedule the Open House. We will reschedule for the near future. Thank you for your flexibility. Winnie and I look forward to seeing our grandparents next week at the Grandparent’s breakfast! We love having our parents and grandparents visit our school! The bookfair will also be open next week. Stop by the library to see all the great title selections we have available. Today is Mrs. Debbi Christmas’ last day at PTH. Mrs. Christmas is a 5th grade teacher. Starting on Monday, Mrs. Christmas will be the reading coach for Bethune and Mr. Pisgah Elementary Schools. Winnie and I will really miss Mrs. Christmas! Mrs. Beltz, our technology coach, will be replacing Mrs. Christmas for the remainder of this year. Although we are sad to see Mrs. Christmas go, we are celebrating with her on her new position! Winnie and I are thankful for Mrs. Beltz’s assuming the 5th grade teaching position with a smile! Both these ladies exemplify the Bullpup spirit! As always, Mr. Bringer, Winnie and I are here to support our bullpups and their families. Please let us know how we may be of help to you or your child.
