A LED red located near the USB port on the charging base indicates that the torch is charging. 4. When the charging is complete, the green LED switches on. Disconnect the USB cable first from the network adapter (or from your computer) and then from the charging base. TECHNICAL FEATURES: refer to the table WARNINGS Remove the batteries if the torch will not be used for long periods or during transports. Make sure that the torch is turned OFF correctly after every use and before storing. SWITCH SPORT MODEL EXTREME AND ICE MODELS If you plan extended period of disuse, we recommend you to recharge the battery every 4 months. To switch on the torch simply screw the frontal part on with respect to the torch body (see fig.1). Follow the same procedure above, but be sure to turn ON the torch after pluging in the micro USB, to start the charging process. If you don’t switch the torch ON, the LED indicator will remain green with battery uncharged. If water leaks occur or in the event of a malfunction, contact the iWave Ocean Dealer where you purchased the product. SWITCH EXTREME AND ICE MODELS Be sure the frontal head is completed screwed and turn the main switch (bottom part of the body). The torch can operate in two modes: 100% and 50%. It is possible to switch from mode 100% to mode 50% just switching on and off more than 1 time. WARNING: NEVER DIRECT THE BEAM LIGHT DIRECTLY INTO YOUR EYES. RECHEARGEABLE BATTERIES The torch have a “Low battery alert” system. When the battery voltage became too low the electronic control keeps the level of the LED current at minimum level and the light starts to blink. This is the signal to charge the battery. The burn-time of the battery is reported in the following table. Burn-time can be influenced by different factors, such as: operating temperature, period for which the torch was not used, number of charging and discharging cycles, storage method of the product. RECHARGING THE BATTERY WARNING: DO NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY NEAR FLAMMABLE ITEMS AND / OR PRODUCTS. 1. Unscrew the frontal part from the torch body (See fig. 2) 2. Plug the Micro USB connector into the port on the charging base (Fig.3) and connect it to the network adapter (5V recommended) or to your computer (500mA). WARNING: TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE TORCH, THINGS OR PEOPLE, IWAVE DESIGN RECOMMENDS YOU NEVER LEAVE THE TORCH CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY CHARGER FOR MORE THEN 3-5 HOURS FROM THE EXPECTED TIME FOR A FULL CHARGE. REPLACING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY (FIG. 4) WARNINGS: DON’T USE OTHER BATTERY WHICH IS NOT DESIGNED FOR THE PRODUCT AND/OR IF IT IS SERIOUSLY IMPACTED OR DAMAGED. ANY REPLACEMENT BATTERY USED IN THIS PRODUCT MUST BE ORIGINAL IWAVE OCEAN. ORIGINAL BATTERY INCLUDE OVER / UNDER VOLTAGE PROTECTION, OVER CURRENT PROTECTION AND SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION. THE USE OF NOT ORIGINAL BATTERIES CAN CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGES TO THE PRODUCT AND TO THE USERS. 1. Unscrew frontal part of the torch 2. Unscrew the charging (see fig.4) 3. Insert the new rechargeable battery into the torch body. WARNING: MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IS INSERTED FOLLOWING THE CORRECT POLARITY (FIG.4) 4. PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE Rinse the outside of the torch in fresh water after every dive, without disassembling it. Store the torch in fresh and dry places, never leave the product in places where the temperature can reach 50° C. WARNING: TO PREVENT ANY POSSIBLE OCCURENCE OF GALVANIC CORROSION, DO NOT USE AND / OR STORE THE TORCH IN CONTACT WITH METAL OBJECTS. Periodically check the integrity of the O-rings. WARRENTY This product carries a two years warranty against manufacturing or material defects. All warranty claims must be returned with date proof-of-purchase to an authorized iWave Ocean dealer. Visit www.iwaveocean.com for the dealer nearest to you. Water leaks are not covered by warranty. 100% iWave Ocean products are tested in pressure at 20 bar before leaving the Factory. This special test is done to verify the product in extreme conditions before deliver it to the customer. Fully screw down the charging cap and screw the frontal part on. WARNING: BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN SCREWING THE FRONTAL PART ON THE TORCH BODY TO AVOID TO DAMAGE THE O-RINGS.
