The wonderful thing about the Garritan Orchestral Libraries is that there is so much flexibility and playability. Although it is easy to hire
professionals to provide well-polished demos, such examples could be misleading. Instead, we thought it would be best to show the libraries in
real world use. The vast majority of our demos are submitted by actual users. These show the versatility of the libraries in a variety of musical
styles and settings. Some of these are from real productions in the industry. Many thanks to these fine composers and musicians for sharing
their music with us. The mp3 demos are provided by third parties and are used by permission. None of these demos be copied, reproduced,
displayed, altered, posted, transmitted, distributed,or linked to, in whole or in part, for any purpose other than individual listening without the
express prior written consent of the contributing third party(s).
You have the highest-quality string instruments at your command. With the GOS library you can control expression, slide up to a note,
change bowstrokes (up & down bowing), play alternative finger positions, real-time note variation, control the amount of vibrato, play
rapidly repeating notes, play fast passsages, instantly change between articulations with Key Switching, play runs and arpeggios, and
so much more. Below are some examples of specific techniques that can be performed with the Garritan Orchestral Strings Library.
