Model Composition 1 – Buying Games
Jeff was at his favourite shop in Funan Mall. It was ‘Gaming World’.
The shop sold the latest PSP and Xbox games. Jeff’s parents told him that
he could buy two games for doing well in his examination.
The first game that caught Jeff’s eye was the Tiger Woods gold game
that one of the shop assistants was demonstrating to a customer. Jeff
peered over the customer’s shoulder. He did not like golf but the graphics
were so attractive and realistic that he could not help watching the game.
Later, Jeff browsed the different games on the shelves. He grabbed a few
off the shelves and showed them to his parents. They reminded him that
he could only select two. Jeff had a hard time deciding. He asked the shop
assistant which of the games were more interesting. The shop assistant
grinned and told him that he would let him try out the games. Jeff was
delighted. He spent the next half an hour trying the five different games
that he had picked. He found a few of them too difficult for him.
After trying the games, Jeff knew exactly what he wanted. He chose
a knights and warriors game as well as an arcade game. He left the shop
happily with his new games in a white plastic bag.
