Salt in bread
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!
we had informed you with circular no. 008/2008 of July 8th, 2008 about the planning of the EU
commission for the discrimination of the salt content into bread and baked goods and asked to take
opposite your governments position for this topic. At the end of February 2009 we will have
opportunity for an exchange of ideas with substantial members of the European Parliament.
Therefore we ask you to transmit your respective statements to us opposite your responsible
governments or your parliaments as soon as possible so that we are able to make opposite the
European Parliament clear that our critical position to the above-mentioned planning of our member
associations is supported. Therefore, we ask you also for transmission of the corresponding
documents, best by mail until February 17th, 2009 to: [email protected].
