Dear Ted,
Congratulations! I wa• disappointed when you decided not to run again, but
although not a iiew Yorker, I certAnly am pleased that you have remained in the
public eorvice, which attracts and holds too few of the concerned and decent.
And from my limited contact with the judiciary elsewhere, it can stand a little
improving. Too few of the judges I have seen in action have shown any concern
for justice.
Thanks for keeping one of my:problems in mind, too.
"y work has advanced to the point where the definition limitiagit to the
Warren Commission Aeport no longer applies. I now have, for example, what was withheld from tTie Commission. I have dOhe a definitive job on the piing assassination.
Confidentially, I am day's investigator, haw no doubt i can prove a dozen ways
more than that he hasn't been proven guilty, but that he is actually imocent
of the shooting. I'm going down to se him Tuesday.
Tin: evil' genius in all the assassination i; the same iadispcnsible, the
first in the history of our country.'
west regards,

Dear Harold:
Thank you for your letter of November 1.
As you can see, I am no longer in the
practice of law, and as a member of the Judic
I
cannot be involved in the interesting aspectsiary
of
your
work regarding the Warren Commission Report.
There may be some lawyers here
New York
who are interested in your case, and if so, Iinwill
bring
them to your attention.
With best regards,
Sincerely yours,
Theodore R.
