Donations and Orders
Please see below descriptions for optional donations and/or orders for Birthday Book Club books, Teacher
Appreciation Luncheons , Chapel CDs, and school t-shirts. Use the Donation/Order Form to indicate selected
items and calculate total payment. Please return to Day School office by September 9 for initial delivery.
Birthday Book Club
Honor your child’s special day while you help our library collection grow!
When you make a $20 donation to the St. Luke’s Birthday Book Club, a new book will be placed in the Day
School Library in your child’s honor. The hardcover fiction and non-fiction books are age-appropriate, and
pre-selected to meet the current needs of our library.
Your donation book will be marked with a ‘Birthday Book Club’ bookplate acknowledging your child’s special
day. In addition to helping SLDS fill the library with new volumes, your child will receive a keepsake bookmark
during the week of their birthday. Summer birthdays will be celebrated during the month of May.
Be sure to indicate your child’s birthday and gender on the order form so we may select an appropriate book.
The book will be delivered to the classroom; please return to the library after enjoying it at home for a few days.

Teacher Appreciation Luncheons
Please help us thank our St. Luke’s Day School teachers and staff!
The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) organizes lunches the first Monday of each month during staff meetings
in an effort to express appreciation for their endless hours of love and support for our children. The Day School
staff totals 70 teachers and administrators.
We ask each family to make a donation of $25 to $40 per child attending to make these lunches possible.
We are always looking for help with the food, decorations and set-up. Also, please let us know if you have a
contact with a restaurant, florist or other supplier that would be willing to help us out with a donation or
discount. (If you supply a vendor name, we will contact you for more information)
St. Luke’s Day School and PAC appreciate your generous support of our teachers and staff! We receive gracious
thank you notes and praise throughout the year for the luncheons. However, without all YOUR support these
events would not be possible.

“Our Chapel Songs” CD
By popular demand, we have recorded all the songs sung
at St. Luke’s Day School’s weekly chapel services.
The CD features former SLDS music teacher
Winkie Jamail on vocals.
Monthly Bible verses, read by Mrs. Weymouth, are included.
CDs will be distributed through the classrooms in late September.
Suggested donation: $5 to $25
