SUCCESSFUL

Many thank yous to the Zonta Club for
another great event. Our Canada
themed party took place at Aristos,
who provided us with a delicious
buffet. Holly and Amanda brought in a
beaver cake, accompanied by her kits
(baby beavers).
A big thank you to Kent Clover Leaf
Club for accommodating us once
again for a night of archery. The rain
unfortunately kept us inside; however
our Littles, volunteers, and even staff
were able to have a great time at the
inside range.
Fun Facts
While they brought people in groups to
do archery, the rest stayed upstairs
and watched the Tooth Fairy 2. They
also enjoyed some popcorn and juice
provided by the club.
It is possible to lead a cow
upstairs, but not downstairs.
Camels have three eyelids to
protect themselves from blowing
sand.
11% of the world is left-handed.
Children grow faster in the
springtime.
After eating, our Littles got to
participate in different activities with
tasty prizes. The kids also received a
speech from Julia Corrente, who
recently participated in the bobsleigh
championships in Calgary, about the
importance of following your dreams.
Little Brother Aiden proved himself as
quite the marksman by managing to
shot one arrow directly into another.
He was allowed to keep the arrows as
a memory. Way to go Aiden!
The kids shared their ideas for future
events, so we are very excited to see
what the Zonta Club comes up with for
us next year, and hopefully many
more to come!
