2017 Wedding & Reception Options & Pricing The Big Day Inclusive Package For 150-200 guests: $5,500 plus hst For 100-150 guests: $5,000 plus hst For up to 100 guests: $4,750 plus hst Our maximum capacity is 200 guests. Wedding Ceremony & Reception (not including catering for rehearsal or wedding dinners). Package includes the following: • Table, Chair & Table Linen Set Up & Take Down *up to 200 guests – Using black Kintail Chairs and white Kintail table linens. 3rd Party rentals including chair, table & linens will be handled by guest. Note, we do not have chair covers. • Use of white ceramic dishes, glassware & cutlery and white cloth napkins if you have requested that Camp Kintail to provide catering. We have a set of dishes, water goblets, 2 types of wine glasses, cutlery, etc. that are only used for weddings and banquets. • Rental co-ordinator who will meet with you twice to tour the campsite, help you organize your wedding at Camp Kintail, and co-ordinate menu with the chef. On one of these visits you can have a tasting of the menu options you would like to serve at your wedding • Staff will assist with decorating, and provide a ladder. We do allow candles and things to be hung on the ceilings and walls. Includes use of the campsite and the following areas: • • • • • • • • Outdoor space & Gazebo. MacDonald Lodge for reception area with seating for up to 200. Outdoor Chapel. Sound system setup in the chapel for your service. Sound system in dining hall with 1 microphone and an input for a computer or smartphone. Feathers Cottage to be used for Bridal party pre/post ceremony. MacKay Hall for use for Wedding Party Pre/Post Ceremony. Use of entire site for photos. Most popular spots include the beach, bridge by cabins in cedar trees, ramp down to the Glen, fireplace in front of Harmony House, chapel deck, meadows firepit & apple trees in Tir Na Nog. • Snack for Wedding Party pre-ceremony for up to 20 people. Choices may vary pending on availability. Additional guests may be added (see below for price) This can be a light lunch or breakfast for the wedding party on Saturday. • Brunch the morning after the ceremony for up to 50 Guests. Additional guests may be included at $15.00 per person plus hst. This Sunday brunch can be traded for a wedding rehearsal dinner on the Friday afternoon/evening. • • Use of disco ball in dining hall, & if a fire is desired in fireplace in dining hall, wood is included. Alcohol Policy: Alcohol will be the responsibility of the wedding party, including all serving and cleanup. You must provide a copy of your liquor license to the camp and smart serve certificates for your bartenders. *Note: This package does not include any programming of activities at the camp, catering for rehearsal or wedding dinner, DJ service, decorations or overnight accommodations for guests. These things can all be purchased separately. You are responsible for allocating rooms and collecting the money from your guests. To reserve the facilities for your group’s stay at Camp Kintail, please complete the Camp Kintail Rental Request Form and return it to confirm your reservation date. The deposit must be received to confirm your rental of the site and facilities. 2. Payment must be made in full within fifteen days of your use of the camp. 3. In order to allow the camp site to be used to its full potential, the camp reserves the right to rent different facilities to different groups on the same weekend. The first group to rent gets first choice of what facilities it is renting. 4. Rental groups are responsible for all damage to camp buildings and property. 5. Clean-up, composting, recycling, and garbage procedures will be made available to you upon arrival, unless you have hire Camp Kintail to take care of this for you. 6. Rental groups are responsible for their own clean up including: a. Sweeping out and removing all belongings and garbage from all rooms and cabins used by the group. b. Sweeping out washrooms, cleaning sinks and toilets. c. Washing all dishes following instructions, removing all leftover food after the group’s stay, cleanup of stove, walk in refrigerator, counters, sinks, and sweeping the kitchen floor. d. Removing all garbage to the dumpster. 7. We ask that one or two people take responsibility for and be present each time the dishwasher in MacDonald Lodge is used. Please use the sinks for dishwashing less than five racks of dishes. 8. If you are going to swim, your group must have qualified lifeguards with National Lifeguard Service certification who are at least eighteen years old. If you need a lifeguard, please contact the Camp Director at least three weeks prior to the rental, or please do not go in the water. 9. Smoking is not permitted on the Camp Kintail site, people can go and smoke at the entrance gate. 10. There is a telephone near the lounge/small group meeting room in McDonald Lodge for collect calls. 11. All guests must respect the natural environment of the site and help to keep it clean. 12. Campfires are to be built only in designated fire pits. Absolutely no fires are to be built in the areas of the cabins, other buildings, or in the woods. 13. No graffiti is to be written on walls or bunks in cabins or rooms. 14. No driving on the grass anywhere, please stay on the gravel driveways and gravel parking areas. 15. Groups will only use buildings or rooms agreed to in their rental form and assigned to them by the staff. 16. Camp Kintail is a nut aware facility. Please do not bring any products onto the campsite that contain nuts. 17. Upon leaving, each group needs to have a signed agreement from a Camp Kintail staff indicating the site has been left in good cleanliness and repair, and that your group has followed the guidelines above. When this form is signed, your deposit will be deducted from your total amount owing. It is the responsibility of each group to inform their members of this agreement. Please contact one of the Camp Directors with any questions or concerns about anything in this agreement. For certain groups or situations, suitable amendments can be agreed to.
