Shopping. The Radisson is a block from Oxford Street, renowned for world-class retail and endless entertainment
selections. You’ll find legendary street brands and iconic department stores. One of the latter was founded by an
American, Harry Gordon Selfridge, in 1909. He saw his store as a theater, exhibition space and playground. Selfridges
continues to amaze, amuse and surprise. Another department store, Marks and Spencer (M&S), leads the UK market in
womens’ and mens’ wear.
Entertainment Districts. To the east, Mayfair is London’s most exclusive district and features the most important retail
activity in the U.K. To the north, Marylebone offers classic architecture and the open spaces of Regent’s Park, while
High Street charms with traditional pubs and beautiful boutiques and shops and excellent local restaurants. The West End
Theater District is rated on par with New York’s Broadway for its variety of award-winning shows and musicals.

Miettex, which serves all markets) and social events (in luxurious venues).
The conference opens with lunch Thursday, June 11 at the Café Museum,
continues with the plant tour and a museum visit (Secular Treasury, where
exceedingly valuable gems abound) before settling into Palais Ferstel, which will
host remaining conference sessions starting with dinner that night.

(Superior Linen Service, Tulsa) and TRSA President & CEO Joseph Ricci, offering the U.S. perspective. For conference
registration and hotel information, go to http://www.textile-services-conference.eu/.
