Mind & Body includes any holistic class that will combine both physical
exercise and stretching with awareness of the mind. Generic benefits of
these classes are; decreased stress, increased flexibility plus improvement
of abdominal core strength.
Mind & Body Yoga A physical journey to stretch, strengthen and align the
whole body, designed to connect body, mind and spirit. Key benefits are;
focused mental state, improved energy, posture and flexibility.
Mind & Body – Pilates A series of floor exercises that stabilize and
strengthen the stomach, back and buttock muscles. Benefits include; improved
core strength, posture, co-ordination and more. Pilates can be ideal in the aid of
treating some injuries such as lower back fatigue.
Mind & Body - Tai Chi A Chinese system of physical exercises designed
especially for self-defense and meditation.
Mind & Body - Meditation A chance to give the body and mind time to be

Running Club A choice of two runs. A 4.5mile run that takes you to one of Saint
Lucia’s National Heritage sites - Pigeon Island. Or adventure over to the Atlantic
side of the island over a slightly hilly 4 miles.
Fitness and Tone - On The Ball A core stability and strength class that is fun and
challenging using the Swiss ball to engage more than just your abdominal core
but giving you a fantastic overall workout.
Pole Fitness Pole Fitness classes are a liberating and sensual Ultimate Body
Workout, powering up one’s self-esteem and encouraging the students to
experience how to be stunningly strong and at the same time graceful like a
dancer. The classes are suitable for all levels, ages and abilities.
Ashtanga Yoga Also known as Power Yoga, this practice incorporates an intense
flow of postures to build strength of body and mind. Ashtanga is both for those
who have been practicing for a while and for those who do not have a regular
practice but like a challenging and fast paced class. This flow helps to increase
concentration, flexibility and strength. Variations are taught for each posture to
suit students of all levels.

Hirudhaya Yoga - for Healthy Heart Cardio vascular yoga helps relieve stress,
reduce inflammation, regulate blood pressure and promote physical activity

Prana Yoga or Pranayama Pranayama or Breathing Exercise promotes proper
breathing which can bring more oxygen to the blood and the brain, and control
Prana; the vital life energy. This class consists of breathing techniques and ends
with relaxation.
Sunrise Yoga and Sunset Yoga Sunrise yoga helps to start your day with a
feeling of grace and gratitude towards the sun energy. This class concentrates
on sun salutations and ends with deep relaxation. Sunset yoga involves both
sun and moon salutations and ends with deep relaxation. Moon salutations can
be cooling and calming. They are used to calm the mind and draw your
awareness inward.
Katti Yoga - for Hip & Spine This yoga helps to correct and maintain the natural
curvature of the spine. There will be specific postures to strengthen the back
and abdominal muscles and help the body maintain a proper upright posture
and movement. It eases back pain by stretching and strengthening the muscles
of the back.
Yang Yoga - Yoga for Women In Yang yoga postures are taught to increase
range of motion, strength and endurance. Postures improve the functions of
gastrointestinal system, endocrine system and also reproductive and menstrual
related problems. It ends with relaxation.
Nurturing Mother to be Massage Ideal massage for expectant mothers.
Hara Yoga - Yoga for Gut Health This helps to detoxify your body as well as
stimulate digestion. Yoga balances all systems of the human anatomy by
massaging the glands and organs of the body. Massaging specific internal organs
can stimulate the glandular system that causes diabetes. Organs such as the
pancreas and other endocrine glands are activated when they are stretched or
compressed initiating an increase in the volume of oxygenated blood to the cells.
Dhyana - Meditation It has different kinds like transcendental or chanting
meditation, chakra meditation, Yoga Nidra meditation, Spiritual Eye gazing
meditation, etc. It gives you a calm mind, more positive thinking and you will
get intuitive power which leads to your inner guidance and more benefits.

YOGA CLASSES
Traditional Hatha Yoga for Beginners & Level 2 This class consists of loosening
exercises, joint movements, sun salutations followed by a set of traditional
Hatha yoga postures in standing, sitting, supine and prone lying positions. It
helps to develop balance of the body and mind, increase flexibility and joint
mobility. It also helps to reinforce the strength of spine & improves
body flexibility.
Pilates A body conditioning routine where you will build muscle strength and
endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips and back. The focus in these
sessions will include spinal alignment, pelvic stability, breathing, improving
coordination and balance. Modifications are taught for all exercises;
beginners welcome.
Vinyasa This class will focus on linking breath to movement, each class is
focused on fluid transitions between poses. This class promotes a proper
balance of strength, endurance and flexibility.
Pre-Natal Pre-natal Yoga classes offer a gentle and flowing class for pregnant
women. This class will focus on postures that support, tone and strengthen the
pregnant body. Pre-natal helps to alleviate some discomforts of pregnancy such
as backache and ankle swelling. This class is appropriate for women new to yoga
and experienced students.
