BOOK more Parties

Book more parties
and double your income
It’s a fact! Parties boost sales and recruitment.
Here’s how to maximise your bookings this July…
PROMOTE OUR
stunning
hostess gift
Make your party
invite exciting!
This limited-edition
handbag is guaranteed
to create a partybooking storm! Here’s
how to make the most
of its appeal…
Ensure you maximise your party’s appeal
with fun but informative invitations.
Keep them visual and easy to read. If something looks good, it’s more likely to
catch their attention!
Create party themes to keep clients coming back for more. How about a winter
soup party? Or a cold-weather slippers and gown party? Both are the perfect vehicles
to promote Sh’Zen’s winter beauty essentials.
1. Host your own
party first.
It’s the BEST way to kickstart
a party season and get more
parties booked. Schedule
your party for the last
weekend in June or for the first
week in July to allow plenty of time
for more parties.
Emphasise the benefits. List the benefits of hosting a party on your invite so
people understand what’s in it for them. Some benefits to include might be:
l A chance to sample top products
l Pampering in the comfort of your own home
l Time to have fun with friends
l Hassle-free shopping at home
2. promote the bag.
Come up with a catchy phrase that will draw attention.
Here are some examples from Be a Party Plan Superstar by Mary Christensen.
l Book a party during your birthday month and get champagne and cake on me!
l Who can think of friends they’ve been meaning to call but never do? Hosting a party
is a great way to get them all together and earn free gifts at the same time!
l Create an hour of at-home beauty shopping in the comfort of your home. Invite your
friends and family around and we’ll bring the best beauty essentials straight to you!
Display the handbag prominently at
your party and emphasise how stylish
and on-trend it is. Then tell guests it’s
worth R399 – but they can get it FREE
if they host a party. Explain that it’s a
limited-edition, but that you’ve set
aside a few for your top clients –
and if they secure a booking for
their own party immediately,
they’re guaranteed to get
their own beautiful bag.
It worked for me!

3. Wear it
everywhere.
Hosting your own party
early in the month will give
you your own gorgeous bag
to show off wherever you go.
Whenever anyone admires it, tell
them how they can get one for
themselves – and book a party date
with them then and there!
“I had been using the same party invite ever since I started working with Sh’Zen. All
I did was change the date and venue. My customers got so bored with it, I think they
just switched off whenever a new invite arrived. So I decided to spruce it up a bit.
Well, what a response. My invite for a slipper party certainly got everyone’s attention
– and 12 women have confirmed (and re-confirmed). Who would have thought that a
few small changes could generate such a buzz! I’ll certainly be coming up with more
fresh ideas for future parties.” – Cheryl-Ann

Fold your monthly specials brochures
so that the cover becomes the page
advertising the hostess gift and hand
them out to as many people as you
meet. The bag will be sure to catch their
attention and earn you extra bookings.

TOP TIP
The best place to book another party is – at a party!
Once guests have seen how easy and enjoyable it is to host a party, they’ll be more open to
hosting their own – especially when you visibly display the hostess rewards, free products
and gift bags! Remember, pampering your host in front of guests is also a sure-fire way to
attract more bookings. Guests will receive the message loud and clear that bookings mean
gifts. Encourage guests to book their own party immediately by offering a free gift or a free
mini-treatment at home for early bookings.
Each party you give has a ripple effect on your business. If
you do two parties a week, with an average of 10 guests,
you will make contact with around 1 000 people a year.
Imagine how many sales that could equal?
