Introduction to the event:
As women march forward with spirit
and grumption in every field, their role,
particularly in the field of Media, Marketing
and Advertising, has been on the ascent. To
recognize this, the exchange4media Group
began an initiative last year to acknowledge
the immense contribution, inspiring leadership
and remarkable body of work of trail-blazing
women professionals in the domain by way
of the 50 Most Influential Women in Indian
Media, Advertising and Marketing list. This is
the second year of the list.
These are women whose passion for work and
desire to achieve excellence have helped them
scale unimaginable heights and taken them
to the top of the game today, earning them
accolades from peers, seniors and juniors alike
in the industry.

This year in 2nd edition of the Top 50

the list, we followed an elaborate process
involving a high powered jury.

women achievers in our industry, which was
filtered down to 90 names keeping in mind the

Task of the high power jury members:
The formidable task for the chair by Sam Balsara,
chairman of Madison world and his seven co-jury
members representing various Media, Marketing and
Advertising domains was to review the nominations
and rank each nominee to create a list of 50 most
influential women.
The Ranking Process:
Here the jury awarded points to each nominee
on a scale of 1 to 100 following a system of
silent scoring.
Finally, the overall points scored by each
nominee tallied to arrive at the final ranking.
