Units completed are all transferable units (usually 100-level or higher) for which you have posted grades (not classes in progress or planned). Associate of Arts for Transfer/Associate of Science for Transfer (AA-/AS-T): Speak to a counselor or go to www.sccollege.edu/Counseling to see if you qualify and if it benefits you. DO NOT say yes unless you are sure you will complete a qualifying degree. Page Ten: College Courses Be sure this information is as complete and accurate as possible to reflect all courses in progress or planned, confirming that you will complete at least 60 units and the “Golden Four.” Page Eleven: EOP EOP stands for Educational Opportunity Program and provides assistance to low-income students and those who first in their family to attend college. In some cases, the program offers minor financial assistance to eligible students. If applying for EOP, you also have to fill out a separate EOP application, available on the “Apply Online” tab of the CSU Mentor home page. Page Twelve: Application Fee Waiver If you qualify for the waiver, you may apply to up to four campuses with no application fee. You only have one chance to qualify for the fee waiver. Make sure your information is accurate. The fee waiver is separate from any ongoing financial aid such as loans, grants, or scholarships. After you Submit your Application: You will receive a confirmation via mail or email within a few weeks. This is not an acceptance. Once you’ve received your confirmation, log on to your student home page on each university’s web site for important information and additional steps to complete your transfer. If you did not pay the application fee online at the time of application, send a check or money order within one week. Watch for instructions from the university about submitting transcripts and follow directions carefully! Missed deadlines are a common reason for revocation of admission. CSU requires a deposit and/or a letter of intent to enroll. Again, watch for instructions from the university.
