The Atlantic Canada TELUS Community Ambassadors club’s
first year was nothing short of a success. Spread out over
three provinces, the executive team was quick to the start
line. Our story begins with TELUS Day of Giving followed by
the vigorous Paddle in Paradise in St. John’s. Kits for Kids,
Home for Dinner and the IWK photo shoot were praised in
their various communities. With our first year behind us, and
a lot of experience in tow, we look to increase our volunteer
pool and hours, and simply give where we live.

Highlights of the Ottawa Christmas campaign include knitting and donating
more than 70 pairs of slippers for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario
and donating 250 winter care items (hats, mitts, gloves, scarves) to the Ottawa
Mission, the Sheppard’s of Good Hope and St. Josephs Women’s Centre.
Finally, together with the Ottawa finance team, our Ambassadors donated and
delivered 800 pairs of socks to the Ottawa Salvation Army shelter.
We have the courage to innovate
