HitekNOFAL UCAO 4-9 Fiber Optic Inline Closure Brief HitekNOFAL UCAO 4-9 is the fastest closure to be terminated in the field. Its outstanding simple design of 2 half shells sealed with a reusable silicone gasket ensures a highly reliable splice area. The UCAO closure is simply hand closed by clamping action with no special tools. It is by all means an outstanding innovation in the mechanical closures design. UCAO provides excellent cable strain relief and space for excess buffer tube storage. Moreover the ease of opening and closing makes this closure ideal for access networks. An excess fiber length of 1200mm is stored in the tray. Bending diameters between 60mm and 80mm is assured for minimum bending stress and attenuations. Splice organizers are required for fiber storage in the standard tray. Closure can accommodate 5 trays. i.e. maximum splice capacity of 60 fibers • MFT Splice Tray The splice organization for up to 24 heat shrink or crimp splice protectors is included in the MFT splice tray Allows for a minimum fiber bend radius of 60mm MFT provides a real fiber management, e.g. in order to change the direction of fibers. Together with the multiple trays mounting access it is also possible to manage complicated network structures.
