The Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire
Protection District No. 2, Benton County,
Washington adopted Resolution No. 2016-01,
concerning a proposition to finance firefighting
vehicles, equipment and protective gear. This
proposition would authorize the District to:
acquire fire fighting vehicles, equipment and
protective gear (including two fire engines,
water tanker, firefighting and life saving
equipment, and personal firefighting protective
gear); issue no more than $1,525,000 of
general obligation bonds maturing within 15
years; and levy annual excess property taxes
to repay the bonds, all as provided in

authorize a sales and use tax increase of

fund the Link which would include a Broadway
Theater, Toyota Center improvements, and
other entertainment and event space, plus
expansion of the Convention Center and other
