After submitting the Collection and Delivery Form, buyers will be contacted to schedule the collection date
and time. Wines can be collected from The Wine Cellarage, Christie’s Columbus Circle Wines & Spirits New
York warehouse partner, once Christie’s has received the Collection and Delivery and acknowledged
payment, including any applicable sales tax, in full.
D E L I V E RY
Christie’s Columbus Circle Wines & Spirits will arrange for The Wine Cellarage to insure the purchased lot
(s) in transit when The Wine Cellarage makes arrangements for such lots to be shipped to the Purchaser.
The Wine Cellarage will insure shipments at 1% of the purchase price (2% for international shipments) with
a $1,000 deductible; unless a written waiver declining insurance is provided to Christie’s Columbus Circle
Wines & Spirits. Please note that insurance covers only loss, theft, damage or breakage; Neither NYWine’s
Christie’s, The Wine Cellarage or its forwarding agents can be held responsible for any other changes to the
wines during shipment. If Purchaser has instructed Christie’s Columbus Circle Wines & Spirits not to insure
the purchased lot(s), the lot(s) will be insured at Purchaser’s own expense under Purchaser’s insurance
policy beginning from the time of collection or pick-up by the shipping agent/carrier. Christie’s Columbus
Circle Wines & Spirits and The Wine Cellarage shall have no liability to the Purchaser whatsoever resulting
from loss of or damage to any such lots. Purchaser shall execute and deliver to Christie’s Columbus Circle
Wines & Spirits an insurance waiver letter in form and substance satisfactory to Christie’s Columbus Circle
Wines & Spirits or a certificate of insurance naming Christie’s Columbus Circle Wines & Spirits as additional
named insured. (Note: If Purchaser is resident of the European Union, these terms do not apply. Please
contact Christie’s Columbus Circle Wines & Spirits for further information.) Lot(s) will not be released for
delivery until they have been paid for in full including any applicable sales and use tax and storage fees if
due and packaging supplies. Purchaser is solely responsible for (i) paying any and all applicable sales, use
or excise taxes related to the purchase and shipment of the lot(s) and (ii) being aware of and complying with
state laws concerning the importation of alcoholic beverages. If another common carrier is preferred by the
purchaser, Christie’s will follow the instructions in helping to arrange the collection of the wines by the
selected carrier. Christie’s can provide a list of suggested common carriers upon request by the purchaser.
All original wooden cases will be shipped automatically unless we receive written instructions otherwise.
Loss, theft, damage, breakage or shortage must be reported in writing to Christie’s Columbus Circle Wines
& Spirits within three days of receipt of delivery of the lot(s). The lot(s) must be examined in the presence of
the carrier on arrival. All packaging, contents and original shipping labels must be retained for inspection.
Purchaser must ensure that the lots will be received by a person at least 21 years of age.

LIMITATION ON SHIPMENT OF WINES
Bidders are reminded of the limitations and restrictions imposed by various states and countries regarding
the importation of wines which have been purchased at auction in one state and shipped into another state
or country. Various jurisdictions both within and outside the United States may prohibit the importation, or
limit the quantity of wines, that may be shipped into their jurisdictions. In addition, various jurisdictions may
require the purchaser, consignor, shipper or other entity to possess certain licenses or permits before
shipping wines. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to determine before bidding at auction whether
wines can legally be shipped into any jurisdiction and the legal obligation or responsibility for obtaining any
required permits or licenses on behalf of the purchaser prior to shipment and Columbus Wines & Spirits and
Christie’s make no representation as to the legal rights of any purchaser to ship wines to or from any
jurisdiction. A delay in obtaining required permits or licenses shall not justify a rescission of any sale of
delay in making payment in full for the purchase.
The Wine Cellarage is located in a former bank vault. It is the most secure and deeply entrenched location of the historic
landmark American Banknote Company Building in Hunts Point, New York. Constructed in 1911, this expansive industrial
fortress was designed to house facilities for the printing manufacture of international currencies. It is a wonder of industrial

INTRODUCTORY RATES AT WINE CELLARAGE
Wine Cellarage has instituted the following introductory storage offer for all new clients referred by Christie’s:
1 to 49 cases - $2.50 per case/month with the first 2 months free
50 to 99 cases - $2.40 per case/month with the first 3 months free
100 to 149 cases - $2.30 per case/month with the first 4 months free
More than 150 cases - $2.00 per case/month with the first 4 months free
Note: $30.00 minimum monthly fee. All contracts would require a one-year term that includes the months received free. The
Wine Cellarage offers full replacement value insurance. Insurance costs 0.60% of the value of the wine per year for warehouse
coverage or 1.50% of the value of the wine per year for warehouse and worldwide transport coverage. Subject to deductible.
