Three thousand and two hundred years ago the great Pharaoh
Ramses III was brutally murdered in a conspiracy concocted by one
of his wives, Tiye. All the information on this unholy event are
contained in the “Judicial Papyrus” kept at the Egyptian Museum of
Turin. However, the ancient Egyptian gods have given you a chance
to change the history: are you ready to go back in time and save the
Lord of the Two Lands?
Nebtauy ­ The Pharaoh Conspiracy is a board game that will
allow you to live an extraordinary adventure in ancient Egypt. You
can explore the arid lands where dwell the ancient kings deceased,
haggle with skilled merchants of the city of Deir el­Medina, or stroll in
the vast city of Thebes, under the shadow of the great temple of
Karnak.
You will be a courageous soldier or a skilled craftsman? An
alluring noblewoman or a dark embalmer? Pick any character class
existing in ancient Egypt and increases your prestige and your
wealth: only in this way you will have the opportunity to access to the
Royal Palace and save your beloved Sovereign!
However, be careful: one of your companions may be the
assassin! Will you be able to find out or to prevent his attack? And if
the murderess are you? Are you ready to betray your country and
upset the cosmic order?
The game is based only on what really was in ancient Egypt:
objects, places, events and depictions! Even the enemies you’ll
meet along the way are not invented: their names, defamed for
eternity, are written on the papyrus of Turin, alongside their terrible
punishments.
Wield your weapon or wrap yourself in a bright clothing or
unrolls a moldy papyrus. No matter how you will act: just do it.
And you will be part of the History!
