What a start to the year!
If the first 3 months are anything to go by, 2013 is going to be a great
year at TSB Hub.
Xrace is a new event that was held in February. Over 200 parents and
children raced around Hicks Park, King Edward Park and the PowerCo
Aquatic Centre taking part in both mental and physical challenges.
Southern Rugby Club hosted the Dewar Shield (Taranaki Rugby 7’s
tournament) on the Hicks Park rugby fields. Teams from Taranaki and
Manawatu competed in this exciting short form of rugby.
Congratulations to Southern who won the tournament.
Grace Barbe from the Seychelles held a workshop and performance on
the TSB Hub courts for 200 local primary school students as part of the
WOMAD Community Programme.
TSB Hub hosted the Taranaki Dairy Industry Awards in March. With 487
guests attending this dinner and awards ceremony, it was held on the
courts. This is the first time a dinner function has been held on the
courts. Event organisers were blown away with the facility.
Netball Taranaki hosted the annual Super League Netball Competition at
TSB Hub. Super League netball is made up of the top two teams from the
Taranaki, Whanganui, Manawatu and Horowhenua premier
competitions. Tu Toa High School from Manawatu won this year’s
competition.

28 April for TSB Hub’s 2013 Wedding Expo.
