Insert a Picture from a File
Apply an Artistic Effect
1. Click the Insert tab in the Ribbon.
1. Select the desired picture or clip art.
2. Click Picture in the Images group.
2. Click the Picture Tools Format tab in the Ribbon.
3. Navigate to the Picture then select it.
3. Click the Artistic Effects button in the Adjust group.
4. Click Insert.
4. Select the desired effect.
Insert a Clip Art from the Clip Art Task Pane
1. Click the Insert tab in the Ribbon.
2. Click Clip Art in the Images group.
3. In the Task Pane that opens on the right enter a keyword.
4. Click Go.

Apply Transparent Color to a Picture
Add a Shape to a SmartArt
1. Select the desired Picture or Clip Art.
1. Select the desired SmartArt.
2. Click the Picture Tools Format tab in the Ribbon.
2. Click the SmartArt Tools Design tab in the Ribbon.
3. Click the Color button in the Adjust group.
3. Click the Add Shape arrow button
4. Click Set Transparent Color.
5. In the picture, click the color you desire to make transparent.
Insert a Sound from a File
1. Click the Insert tab in the Ribbon.
Insert a SmartArt
2. Click the Audio arrow button in the Media group.
1. Click the Insert tab in the Ribbon.
3. Click Audio from file.
2. Click SmartArt in the Illustrations group.
4. Navigate and select the desired audio file.
3. Select the desired SmartArt.
5. Click Insert.
4. Click OK.
Trim a Sound File
Apply a SmartArt Style
1. Select the desired sound icon in the slide.
1. Select the desired SmartArt.
2. Click the Audio Tools Playback tab.
2. Click the SmartArt Tools Design tab in the Ribbon.
3. Click the Trim Audio button in the Editing group.
3. Click the More button in the SmartArt Styles Gallery.
4. Drag the green and red end points to the desired location.
4. Select the desired SmartArt Style.
5. Click OK.
Modify the SmartArt Layout
1. Select the desired SmartArt.
2. Click the SmartArt Tools Design tab in the Ribbon.
3. Click the More button in the Layouts Gallery.
4. Select the desired Layout.
