His publications include: Benign Anarchy: Alcoholics Anonymous in Ireland and Alcohol, Drugs and Health Promotion in Modern Ireland. Professor Michael A. Conway is Professor of Faith and Culture at St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth. He is the current Director of the Irish Centre for Faith and Culture. He is a specialist in the thought of Maurice Blondel. Professor Christopher C.H. Cooke is a Professor in the Department of Theology & Religion at Durham University, where he is currently director of the Project for Spirituality, Theology & Health at Durham. A psychiatrist and theologian, his research explores how theological accounts of human behaviour may inform, challenge, and extend scientific perspectives. His extensive publications include The Philokalia and the Inner Life: On Passions and Prayer and Alcohol, Addiction and Christian Ethics. Kate McCarthy teaches Drama and English in the School of Humanities at Waterford Institute of Technology. THE SCHOOL OF Dr Niamh Maguire lectures in Criminal Law and Criminology at Waterford Institute of Technology and is a qualified barrister.
