Pupil Premium Information Sum 15
Our pupil premium allocation for the current academic year
Details for our PPG (Pupil Premium Grant) allocation including the current academic year:
Details of how we intend to spend our allocation
Pupil Premium Allocations for this year will be targeted in the following ways:
1. Individual Learning Support Programmes (delivered though TA support and specific learning
resources). This is a slightly different approach as this will be individually targeted this year.
2. Curriculum Access (50% trip funding)
Details of how we spent our previous academic year’s allocation
Last academic year we spent our allocation in two main ways. We split the Pupil Premium Allocation
between access for the disadvantaged and learning support. This took place in two main ways:
1. Intervention support (paying for teaching assistants to deliver support packages)
2. Trip support (typically 50% of all trips were funded for children in receipt of the pupil premium)
How has it made a difference to the attainment of disadvantaged
pupils?
The use of pupil premium grant allocation through intervention was instrumental in providing
disadvantaged pupils with access to trips (enhancing the learning experience) and helping to ensure
that vulnerable groups had high level support to enable appropriate progress.
