Hot-Tap Saddles
Spears Hot-Tap Saddles allow connection to an
existing pipeline under pressure. Simply bolt
the saddle on to the existing pipe and connect
the branch piping. The brass or stainless steel
cutter is screwed through the pipe wall (the
special design captures and retains the disc
from the hole), then withdrawn allowing an
unrestricted flow through the branch.
The maximum working pressure is:
