Coors Outfield Picnic Area
ACCESS AND LOCATION
THE BALLPARK AND THE COORS OUTFIELD PICNIC AREA WILL OPEN
1 ½ HOURS PRIOR TO GAME TIME.
Your picnic tickets will allow you entrance into the picnic area. The Coors Outfield is located just outside the ballpark,
adjacent to Gate A at ground level and directly behind the Rockpile seating area. Please advise your group that they may
only access the area from the northwest side of the ballpark (right-centerfield) and they do not need to enter the ballpark
to access the picnic area. Parking lots A and B are the most convenient for access to the area. The area is reserved for
your group for 1 ½ hours prior to the start of the game. The picnic area will close at the start of the game at which all
guests must exit the area.
Catered Buffet
Party Facilities Ticket Voucher
Our classic picnic grill buffet is included with your reservation.
Please see the enclosed menu for specific items. If you are a
group of 400 or more and wish to upgrade this menu, please
call the ARAMARK Catering Office at (303) 312-2550 no
later than one week prior to your game. A cash bar will be
available in the area where beer and wine will be served.
As a token of our appreciation for your support of
Rockies Baseball, we will enclose with your game tickets
(upon final payment) a voucher good for four
complimentary tickets to a future 2014 Colorado Rockies
Monday through Thursday Value or Premium home
game (offer excludes the July 3-4 Fireworks and all
Friday, Saturday and Sunday games). This voucher is
redeemable at the Coors Field Ticket Office or by mail;
see voucher for more details.
In accordance with ballpark policy, all food and beverages
consumed in the picnic area must be ordered through
ARAMARK Catering and cannot be brought into the Coors
Outfield from outside sources. Please also be aware that
alcoholic beverages must be consumed within the area and are
not permitted to be taken outside the picnic area for any reason
at any time. However, you may enter the ballpark from the
picnic area with an alcoholic beverage.
Drink Tickets are available in the Coors Outfield Picnic Area.
The cost is estimated at $7.00 per ticket plus a 10% gratuity
and an 8% sales tax. Please call the Catering office at (303)
312-2550 to purchase drink tickets.
Group Size Information
If your group consists of 25-200, you should expect to
share the area with other groups, however, we will
reserve tables for your group exclusively. Each group
will also be sharing a common buffet line. If your group
size is 201-250, you may request exclusive use of half of
the area, based on availability. If your group is 400-500
people, you may request use of the entire area, based on
availability.
Message Board-Scoreboard
Recognize your group on the message board or scoreboard!
Your message may be 33 characters in length, including
spaces, and may not be commercial in nature. Once you decide
how you would like your message to read, please call the
Suites & Party Facilities Department at (303) 312-2444 no
later than three days prior to your game. Your message is
scheduled to appear once when play resumes at the top of the
5th inning. If your game tickets are in the Rockpile, Pavilion,
Outfield Box Sections 146-150, Club Level Sections 246-247,
or Upper/Lower Reserved Outfield Sections 344-347, your
message will be displayed on the electronic message board
located in the rightfield corner of the ballpark. If your game
tickets are in any other seating area, your message will be
displayed on the main scoreboard in leftfield. Please be aware
that this timing is subject to change due to other
message/scoreboard commitments. Please note that if a
request is not received, no message will run. Message
requests will not be accepted after the deadline.
Child Age Information
Following are the requirements for children’s game
tickets and picnic tickets:
0-2 years: NO game ticket needed, NO picnic ticket needed
3-4 years: Game ticket needed, NO picnic ticket needed
5 years & over: Both game ticket and picnic ticket needed
Group Ticket Return Policy
You may return up to 25% of any purchased group
and/or picnic tickets. Tickets must be returned to our
office by mail (Suites & Party Facilities, 2001 Blake
Street, Denver, CO 80205) at least 10 days prior to the
game date.

Additional Picnic or Game Tickets
If you would like to purchase additional picnic or game
tickets, please call the Suites & Party Facilities
Department at (303) 312-2444 or write your request on
your invoice. We will need to check availability and may
not be able to seat your game tickets in the exact area as
your original order. We would appreciate additional
orders to be placed no later than three days prior to your
game date as additional food must be ordered as well; if
you place an additional order within three days of your
game date, you may risk not receiving the additional food.
Payments
Specific due dates will vary depending on when you place
your reservation. Please check your invoice for specific
payment due date. Your tickets will be mailed to you
when full payment has been received. All payments are
non-refundable. Failure to comply with this payment
policy will result in forfeiture of your reservation(s). The
Colorado Rockies reserve the right to cancel your
reservation(s) if payment is not received by the due date
printed on your invoice.
Rain or Snow-Outs
If a game’s starting time is delayed prior to the picnic
area being opened, food and beverage service will also be
delayed to coincide with the delayed starting time. In the
event a delay is not officially announced until after the
picnic area has opened, the food service will be provided
as originally scheduled and end with the original start time
of the game, or at management’s discretion.
If your game is cancelled anytime after the gates and
picnic area have opened, catering will proceed as
scheduled for 1 ½ hours, or for a time frame designated
at the discretion of management. Your game tickets
should be used for the designated make-up game or may
be exchanged individually for another game according to
the policy on the reverse of every game ticket. Exchanges
are based on availability. Please be aware that a make-up
game may be rescheduled for the following day or months
later. Since the picnic menu has been served as scheduled,
a refund for the catering costs will not be made.
If your game is cancelled prior to the gates and picnic
area opening, your tickets should be used for the
rescheduled game. If your group cannot attend this game,
you picnic reservation may be exchanged by the picnic
host of record for another available game date or a refund
can be issued. Exchange and refund requests for all picnic
tickets will only be processed under one request
coordinated by the picnic host directly with the Suites &
Party Facilities Department. All exchange and refund
requests will only be honored if completed prior to the
start of the make-up game. If the picnic host chooses to
be refunded, there will be no charge for the catering
package and/or additional catering ordered.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel a reservation, please understand that we
will only refund payments received if we are able to resell the
facility for that particular game date. If the facility is not resold, all payments are non-refundable.
Coors Field Bag Policy
Bags (including backpacks) which exceed 16”x16”x8” in size
will not be allowed through ballpark gates. Please be aware
that every bag may be checked by gate staff. Food and
beverage may not be brought into the picnic area from outside
the ballpark. Call (303) ROCKIES for further information.
Lost or Stolen Tickets
Lost or forgotten tickets must be repurchased at full price. If
the tickets are found and returned before the conclusion of the
current season, you will be given a full refund. Stolen tickets
will be reprinted at no charge with a police report. If a police
report is not provided, the tickets must be repurchased at the
full price. In either case (lost or stolen), you must contact the
Suites & Party Facilities Department directly at (303) 3122444.
Additional Needs
If your gameday event requires a laptop-to-TV VGA cord,
banquet table, sound system or any other additional needs, we
ask that you contact us at least 1 week prior to your game.
Any request submitted after the deadline may not be fulfilled.
