Their powerful works, confidently presented by supporting galleries, booksellers, and publishers, are captivating. Hillside Terrace Photo Fair brings together exhibitors that have lead and continue to lead the world of art photography. The Fair will be launched in coordination with various other concurrently running events in Tokyo in September 2014, with plans for expansion in the coming years. (3) Gelatin Silver Print With supervision from an expert printer from Shashin Kosha, the professional photo lab that handles Nobuyoshi Araki and Daido Moriyama’s prints, participants will experience the gelatin silver printing process in this workshop. Please send the title of the workshop, your name and phone-­‐number to [email protected] by the midday of the 5th of September. 4 Pop-­‐Up Bookstore: STEIDL + MACK Since its establishment in 1967, the German publisher STEIDL has drawn the attention of photography fans around the world by consistently publishing high quality books, which it produces entirely in-­‐house, from planning to printing and binding. The London-­‐based publishing company MACK was established in 2010 by Michael Mack, who directed STEIDL's photography books department for 20 years. This pop-­‐up bookstore will showcase the visions of these two internationally acclaimed publishers. This project is co-­‐produced by POST and twelvebooks, official distributors, respectively, of STEIDL and MACK in Japan. Dates and Time: Thu.
