It reviews fundamental structures such as the present tense of regular and irregular verbs, reflexive verbs, and possessives, as well as vocabulary associated with family, daily routines, telling time, vacations and travel, and describing things and events. Additional review of vocabulary and structures will be woven throughout the book in the A ver si recuerdas sections as well as in the regular chapters. Throughout the review, you should feel free to incorporate any favorite activities or materials from Realidades 1 and 2 that deal with the same topics or structures. Suggestions: Introduce yourself to students who don’t know you. Provide a brief description of yourself, such as where you are from and some activities that you like to do. Then have students turn to a partner he or she doesn’t know, to find out information such as his or her name, what he or she is like, where he or she is from, some favorite activities he or she likes to do, and how often he or she does them. Point out to returning students that they may have forgotten things over the summer, but that with practice, the language they learned last year will come back to them quickly. • Talk about school and non-school daily activities • Describe your day before and after school • Talk about weekend activities • Describe special events and celebrations Standards: 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 3.1, 4.2 Más práctica ● ● Real. para hispanohablantes, p. viii Guided Practice: Vocab.
