Consequently, we ask exchange students to reach a level B1 in French at least to be able to attend courses properly. A module of French as a Foreign Language is offered at the beginning of each semester (30 hours in group). In addition, you might also want to sign up for French courses within the framework of the PRES "Université de Toulouse" (150€ per module). Grading system EI PURPAN applies the ECTS grading scale (but applies a module average system for PURPAN students). Local examinations are graded from 1 to 20, and translate into ECTS grades as follows (see table below). However, to validate a course*, foreign students must obtain at least 9,5/20.
