Number Sentence Match
Materials: One set of ten-frame cards (1-10) and one set of number sentence cards
______________________________________________________________________________
1. Work with a partner. Shuffle the cards. Place the number sentence cards facedown
in a row. Place the ten frame cards facedown below the number sentence cards.
2. Player A: Turn over a number sentence card and complete the math talk sentence.
___ + ___ = ___ so I am
looking for a ten frame
with ___ dots.
Next, turn over a ten frame card. If the quantities match keep the two cards, if they
do not match turn both cards back over.
3. Player B: Repeat Step 2.
4. Keep playing until all the pairs of cards have been collected.
5. At the end of the game record the number sentences that you collected.
