The Golden Eagle Awards of Excellence recognize the outstanding achievements of Cal State LA students who have
made important contributions to the campus and to their communities. Scholars, athletes, student organization
members, community activists, volunteers, resident assistants, and all Golden Eagles are strongly encouraged to apply
for this award in recognition of their impact. Recipients will be honored at a reception with family, friends, and campus
dignitaries during the Spring Semester.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2017 AT 5:00PM.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to provide a letter of support with their application. This letter
may be written by a professor, coach, employer, mentor, or any other individual who can attest to the
applicant’s experiences and talents. A selection committee will review the applications.
Notification letters will be mailed in march 2017.
