"Top dog gets the house" Look at the decimal place value, say it, and write that as a fraction. Decimal to Percent Percent to Decimal To convert from a decimal to a percent You use DP (Dr. Pepper!) This is the same as multiplying by 100 To convert from a percent to a decimalYou use DP (Dr. Pepper!) This is the same as dividing by 100 You move the decimal two places to the right. You move the decimal two places to the left. Examples: 1. 1.3 = 130% Examples: 1. 155% = 1.55 2. 0.021 = 2.1% 2. 0.27% = .0027 Now you try!
