Fractions to Decimals
Decimal to Fraction
To convert from a Fraction to a Decimal You divide! "Top dog gets the house"
Look at the decimal place value, say it, and write that as a
fraction.
Example:

So, 8 goes "in the house"
0.002 = "two thousandths"

Percent to Decimal
To convert from a decimal to a percent You use DP (Dr. Pepper!)
 This is the same as multiplying by 100
To convert from a percent to a decimalYou use DP (Dr. Pepper!)
 This is the same as dividing by 100
You move the decimal two places to the right.
You move the decimal two places to the left.
Examples:
1. 1.3 = 130%

2. 0.021 = 2.1%

percents are out of 100)
