A predicate adjective is an adjective that follows a linking verb and describes the
verb's subject. The linking verb connects the predicate adjective with the subject.

Identifying Predicate Adj ectives
Underline the predicate adjective in each sentence. lf the sentence has no
predicate hdjective, write None on the line to the rigtit.
1. The valley in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, was very deep.
